natural colour makes it hard to pair; and not everyone has the balls to do their own dye job on a pair of lobbs

    can't beat the price though

It was going to my dad so I had them make it perfect: total cleaning, repaired lining, stain removal and fixed a few moth holes.

This is the third item I've sent to them and I'm always blown away with what they're able to do. They've removed stains my local specialty dry cleaner said were permanent.

I offered $170 last night...no response - guess he was holding out for that extra $10. Thought of just buying at full asking price to flip but hesitated. To the higher offer they went!

I noticed some members picking up records in this thread. I rarely come across interesting thrift store records, but make a habit of visiting weirdos in NJ through Craigslist and the occasional flea-market. Is anyone here after Blue Note or Prestige? I'm always interested in trading!

Edit: Also the odd DIY emo or Pitchfork fodder.

I e-thrifted Tom Ford boots today, but I'm not posting them right now.

Instead, I'm posting the lower half of a year-old thrift fit—featuring my dog, who had to be euthanized today. We've had her since I was eight years old. Goodbye, my friend :(

    Thanks Spoo.

By some miracle, I was home for thanksgiving when she went downhill. She lost the ability to walk 20 minutes after I got through the door.

I was able to properly say goodbye, which meant a lot. She lived a long, wonderful life, and was in no pain. We should all be so lucky.

A woman I bought some stuff from before contacted me last week about having run across some of her uncles sunglasses. Made me a nice (thrift prices) deal on a lot of 34 pairs.

Here are some of the nicer ones.
