Also, let it be known that if anyone finds old punk/hardcore LPs at the thrift store, I will GLADLY purchase them off of you ;)

Welcome dude, I reside in Cleveland myself. My favorite spots are actually out in Parma. There's two GWs and a huge Value World. Feel free to PM me anytime man.

I used to shop in and around Cleveland a lot. Hit all places on google map EXCEPT the salvation army near downtown, it sucks bad. Thriftique is one of the best places. As mentioned Parma is good.

Those Armani Collezioni coats are f'n killer. I've found a couple, REALLY underappreciated, nice fabrics and the cuts aren't wonky. Nice find!

Madras ties for the linen blazer I just kopped a few weeks ago. Already wore the cashmere Fair Isle tie. Actually starting to get a decent wardrobe after 5+ years on this damned site.

I found a very unique Flight Jacket. It is not Horsehide and its not a Type A-2. But, it has some REALLY cool features:

As you can tell from the pictures, it has a patch on the chest. The patch is an OLD and handmade Snoopy Patch that says Curse you Red Baron!

More interesting though is the "Blood Chit" that is handsewn on the inside.

A blood chit was a flag/scarf that was supplied to pilots and others fighting in foreign countries. It was unigue to a given region and war. This is the blood chit from Vietnam.

    In english, the scarf says:

"I am a citizen of the United States of America. I do not speak your language. Misfortune forces me to seek your assistance in obtaining food, shelter and protection. Please take me to someone who will provide for my safety and see that I am returned to my people. My government will reward you."

This message is repeated in 6 other languages -- Laotian, Burmese, Vietnamese, Thai, French, and Cambodian.

The scarf/flag is stamped with the seal of the Military Assistance Command.

I hit the GW outlet store yesterday for the first time... I actually found five decent items and spent $5.25 total. One thing I bought was this 2002 model R3 jacket. It has paint all over it, and the main zipper pull is broken. But the two zipper pulls match the missing one on my 2002 model R2 jacket!

Inspired by the KnowledgeBox(tm) and also something I read I one of the denim collector forums, I'm going to startup a digital collection of Patagonia tags, styles and fabrics.

Help please... Charvet tie. Some pulling. Is this minor enough to still kop?[IMG][IMG]

This is the worst on the front. There's a few more obvious pulls on the back blade.
