I think i just hit the jackpot
Tons of finds this weekend, but these I wanted to share
Vintage LL Bean military sweater. Wool, made in England, quite heavy
Older cashmere, black Pringle cardigan
Hoping these are still recraftable. AE Park Aves with almost mint uppers but the soles are separating and the heels are pretty shot. 9d
Any XXL guys need a NWOT Beretta shooting shirt?
And hoping this is real. Can anyone confirm? Fingers crossed! Priced dirt cheap o had to take a short (also returnable). LV suit gray with Loro Piana Winter wool fabric. If real, maker? I can't find another of the same tags
I cant see a faker putting a Loro fabric lable on there i think ur good
Found a Tom James custom (not sure if bespoke) suit for $7.99. No fabric label. Passed because it was from '93 (with all that that implies) with a short inseam. Did I make a mistake? Also a nice Southwick linen/cotton sport coat w/ real MOP buttons that I also passed on because of sizing. Don't know if the flipping thing is for me, so I'm only buying pieces I can wear.
My best thrift find so far (for me) was 5 current J.Crew mainline shirts in my size with no signs of wear.
I need to find better stores.
In the field... Jay Kos/Harris tweed overcoat? Yay or nay?
Jay Kos is an instakop for me if it's a tailored piece. A Jay Kos Harris Tweed overcoat though? Whoa!
In before everyone dumps their thriftening finds today.
Just a bunch of fodder of ties etc that I'm not gonna waste your time with.
This one though, I thought was pretty awesome.
I'm going to cut this one to make pocket squares...as soon as I get caught up with those I already need to make
Moving day. @Letric I may have you beat bro
Some normal fodder first...
ST Dupont and brand new Longchamp pebbled leather.
Gonna need an assist with this one boys.wtf is this.?
HERMES liner ,I have a feeling the maker is under scarf but i dont wanna damage it.
Incredible detail.any ideas?
Thats the scarf
pretty sure its a custom job, I think Wes had a suit once and I do too - it wasn't common but has been a thing to do hermes scarf linings for custom pieces. Looks to be from the 70s 80s era when custom furs were all the rage.
Big shoutout to @SpooPoker for an awesome trade! Really appreciate the surprise pair of glasses!
Goodluck on the move!
