The Purge, huh? Maybe I should do this, too. But, does anybody else on here wear 48L or 50L?

Funny what you can interpret from the Goodwill racks. Today I saw the story of a tiny man who loved Faconnable shirts and once had many truly awful suits. Why so many awful suits, tiny man? I hope you got a promotion in your suit-wearing, low-paying job, and bought better suits! Good for you if so!

Other people also donated things, and I bought some of those things. It was Fall-Appropriate Clothing Day for me.

Also some Woolrich Made in USA goodness

and another Woolrich I liked and fits, so who cares if it's the vintage label or not

Paul Stuart navy blazer (or orphan?) in 42L. Nice, if unexciting

    Orvis shirt

I love people who wash clothes poorly. I've bought several really nice wool sweaters and shirts this season that are marked XL, XXL, etc. but fit me as a small/medium. Here's one marked Large that's really a small, fits me great:

Its even more fun to it at estate sales.

Sometimes my wife and make up detailed stories about the people who lived there. Its also sometimes very sad seeing this huge collection of crap that people are pawing through.

Its really fun when you go into a house that looks very conservative and straight laced. Maybe even a cookbook from the local church and the sewing area where the old lady turned her old dresses into aprons and then, in the top of the closet or way down inside the cedar chest or somewhere equally hidden you find a big ole book about Bondage or some other fetish. It always warms my heart to see a sale of some really old people and based on what you find, you can guess that they were still getting freaky even as old people (be careful not to imagine it too much, that's just nasty, but its a good thought anyway).

I try not to do that because they're usually dead.

I went to one last week that was a legit hoarder house. They hoarded 80s fashion. Had to snap a pic. the poster is classic.
