Both of those actually retail at 235 right now. Honestly IW is a sad story. They went from an awesome MTM jean company based here, then realized that they could make more money outsourcing their production to an assembly line factory. So they make very few things now with mediocre craftsmanship and sell them in the 235-250 range. IMO the best thing about a pair of IWs is the current Barton fit; it's a great fit for me, but the contruction leaves a lot to be desired.

All that said, they do flip pretty well in my experience.

Nice, was thinking about those shoes just the other day. Found those the day after we first met.

    Anyone need a sewing machine?

I have a Brother XL-5130 we picked up NIB at a yard sale like 5-6 years ago, and we've only used it once.

    About the machine

You guys post such amazing stuff, where I live good brands are really scarce in thrift shops - I'm jealous! [IMG] When I do find something, however, it's dirt cheap so[IMG]

Sounds awesome, getting and keeping even just one star is extremely difficult so I'm sure that food was on point. Second favorite international cuisine, Cuban food is no. 1 on my list

Lol @SpooPoker ... The naan will get you every time. It's one of the few things that you eat that makes you feel MORE full after an hour or so.

I'm sending a preemptive "sorry for the late gift" to my thriftmasee, I've been so busy that I've literally only been out once in the last 3 weeks. I'm hoping to get out soon, but I just wanted to put that out there. :hide: I've already gone through the detox stage, got over the jitters and have now entered the acceptance phase. Seriously, this is the longest I've gone since I started doing this 4 and a half years ago. :fu: :fu:

Think of all the great stuff you may have missed, that should make you feel better [IMG]
But really, once the thrift bug bites you, it's hard to stop. I go every other day, and every time I go past a store, I think about that one special thing I really want being in there, and can't help but go in, hoping to find gold [IMG]
It's like gambling, but with much better consequences
