To my thrift secret santa... I would rather drink my gift than wear it
@sashae that cashmere hermes
Yea but like a point I made way earlier, they won't continue to have that value if you just hoard, and the returns can't be good because you aren't getting any because you're not selling them. And I too can appreciate a person who enjoys the finer things, I too enjoy fine luxury items as well, my weak spot is clothing, however I also like amassing luxury items and selling them for returns like the numbers you state.....and is your dad 28? Cuz I watched those cartoons as a kid, wasn't aware it started off as a comic book series.
Sashae...Deets on Dries Van Noten suit?
Gunna get a little weird, but Im sure some of you have noticed that items from the stores you shop at have a very distinct scent. I thrifted a James Perse shirt today from a GW near work, that I absolutely know came from one of my regular shops. Besides that being one of the only spots in town you can get JP, the items I get from that shop smell wonderful(not being sarcastic). Also picked up some nwot men's Lulu slacks that I think I will be wearing to work tomorrow.
Edit: Should probably mention that the shop it came from is not a thrift store.
The character Scrooge McDuck was created the same year my dad was born, 1947. He grew up reading the comic books as a kid. He actually kept some of those originals.
Not exactly the most exotic but it was 50% off! Never seen one like this. What do you guys think?

Ran across this on an old thread and thought it needed to be shared:
