I totally remember that pattern... Good stuff!
Unbranded ultra-heavy chesterfield.
VTG Harris Tweed with zip-out lining.
1950's Civil Defense Greatcoat, if it's not 10 pounds it's 15.
I sold a pair of distressed ones for ~$75
What be this fuckery?
handmade in italy, red stitching (says limited edition). is that made by another manufacturer and then labelled as cremieux?
regardless of brands, this one is a keeper. Damn thing knots and dimples sooo nice!
+1, I've managed to grab a few with new and unknowing employees ringing me up, but otherwise they are strict around here. One store sells bundles of "suit hangers" but they are usually just ordinary cheap wood hangers. The best one I have is a very, very nice Aquascutum hanger that had a Hardy Amies 3 piece on it. Took the suit to the register on the hanger and they bagged the whole thing up no questions asked and no additional charge.
old ones have printed paper tags. but those can do well also! research Valencia 555 and you'll get an idea.
Isaia makes those.
Happy birthday, @SpooPoker
happy birthday @SpooPoker !
@SpooPoker happy birthday!
didn't see this. Thanks @Woofa
Hear you on hate leaving em. Well the one that made me ask in the post earlier was only a 6 fold; but can definitely feel the difference. I've yet to come across a Brioni 6-7 fold; but I already like this one over any of my Hermes.
First one I've seen in my travels (tho I'm still relatively new to thrifting compared to some of the people here).
I didn't know Isaia makes the Cremeiux high end stuff! I have found a few of their suits and thought they seemed very nice. One of my favorite suits that I wear is a Cremeiux with LP fabric. I knew somebody special had to be making the really nice ones.
Its Spoo's Birthday? WOW!
Go get a Ferrari! Happy Birthday Matthew! Have a good one and remind your wife that Birthdays are very special days that only happen once a year!
First stop was my kind of goodness...
Here are a few things I'm looking for to give you some kind of idea:
-Barbour-style quilted vest w/ collar
-Sandy colored sued belt 34/36
-Extra slim button downs 16.5/17 - 34 (prefer button down collar)
-FF wool pants in a 34/35x30
-Brown wingtip or cap toe boot 12D(11.5 if they run big)
-Stan Smiths or similar
I'm usually more toward the casual side. Ties get worn rarely. All-in-all, I'm pretty easy to please and, as others have said, just appreciate the thought.
