1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The fur looks real from here, maybe dyed? Can't imagine fake fur on an Oxxford cashmere piece. That thing is pretty sweet.

Bowties, picked up all at once, From Brioni to Rooster, RT, Carrott & Gibbs, BB, some others...

I've got an RP1 with the performance package. It sounded great without it. It sounds more than great with it. That table is definitely worth the money.

Sounds like you're aiming for a good, middle-of-the-road TT, am I correct (not entry level and not super high end)? The Rega is an excellent choice for the price-range. However, I've heard fantastic things about the U-Turn Orbit, especially for the price ($300). The Orbit Plus comes in cheaper than the Rega and the Orbit base model is only $179. http://store.uturnaudio.com/products/orbit-plus-turntable Also I'd consider the Music Hall MMF-2, but the Rega comes in a little cheaper and I'd say they are pretty much on the same level. I wouldn't write off vintage completely either. There's some great looking turntables available in the $300-$450 range that don't scream "1970's". One of my favorites is the Denon DP-1100. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-Denon-D...363150?hash=item5428b76f8e:g:u0sAAOSwrklVcJo9

@double00, thanks for the help? What sets the lvc line apart? Different labeling?

Re: the fur collar, burn test was inconclusive, so I was trying to play it safe. But I agree that fake fur on an Oxxford is weird.

It's no secret I love the Thorens I got from Nat, but if you end up in that price category, audition a Clear Audio Concept, too. I just installed one for a friend not too long ago and it's seriously high quality. You must have a local shop that has a used section. If you make it down to Tampa again soon, check out Audio Visions South. That same friend has been workin with them for over 20 years. The owner, George, is a great guy and will be more than happy to help. They have a great used selection, too.
Funny. My dad has a DP-60L. It's the TT I grew up in front of.

Yep I found this awesome box. The insides are missing sadly which makes it lose half it's value.

Also I couldn't find the watch either. A trip to the same store is planned every day this week though.

[IMG] no way that's factory from oxxford. Look at the way it's attached looks off. Looks like a home project.

Not sure about the coat itself but the way the Oxxford Clothes tag is attached is legit.

coats real just a oxxford cashmere. But that collar no way that would have left the factory with that collar no way not with oxxford's target audience. The tag also would have stated collar content as oxxford wouldn't have used a synthetic material.
