You mean this is what he will find at the next mega estate sale. There will be a dozen of these socks all folded carefully inside the deceased owners tax return inside an antique Alligator Briefcase that also contains a copy of a previously unknown Hemingway manuscript with his hand written corrections and notes.

Thrifted a first for me today: Star Wars LEGOs.

Got 7 models mostly assembled and in bags with their corresponding instruction books, the models are priced between $70-130, paid $10/ea. If you have kids to buy LEGOs for, you know how much of a come up that is! haha

Also got a BBBF BB5 club collar shirt if anyone's interested.

Did not kop. But if you're in the Pacific Northwest and need a Rhodes holler at me and I'll tell you where to go.

As a kid, most of my Legos were garage-sale boxes my Mom found. Hundreds of dollars worth for pennies. I've started doing the same thing, partly for future kids, mostly for myself. [IMG] Congrats on getting complete sets with instructions! I usually only find grab-bags of whatever.

Man I'll tell you, I cannot find them used for reasonable prices anywhere. All garage sales have them priced astronomically, random bags that probably equal about 60% of retail price. I was extremely excited about this.

I did, however, find out that there is an online database of building instructions by model. But nothing beats having the actual booklet with you.

Damn, now you've got me wanting to find some Legos. That was about the only toy I played with as a kid.

Also, this is a super cool find and I would cop for my studio if local, and you may know this, but saying "a Rhodes" for this may cause some confusion. That's a digital model and not in the same class as the Mark I-Vs that people think of when you say Rhodes.

$2,600 for a ratty sweater? Go fuck yourself Kayne. Addidas should be ashamed of itself.
