Not the big $$ tiger stripe but still a very solid pickup. Looks like a late 80's-early 90's issue from Alpha. White label, made by Alpha, M65 and tiger stripe camo? Well done, I'd say!

That Loro vest is just insane. Wow... :slayer:

What do you mean by 'slashed', GMMcL - actually cut somewhere on the garment? Why would anybody do that? Take a perfectly good garment and damage it so it's no good anytmore, and then charge money for it?

Also, how do I do spoilers? I used to know how to do it on Livejournal, but that was a long time ago.

I believe it was said to be done for two reasons: In retaliation for stores charging high prices, and also to discourage the competition from shopping there.

Thank goodness I haven't seen it locally(knock on wood). Sounds terrible.

ridiculous unstructured, unlined glen plaid blue windowpane. hotness. the hem has come undone in one spot but i'll have a tailor see to that...

thing about this is this is a very very small charity shop in a very very small neighborhood, most of what they had in there was marked 'designer' and 150+... they had a sweet Brioni db suit but they wanted $950 if you can believe that (and keep in mind tax in my hood is around 10% so if you feel like paying $100 in fucking tax in a fucking thrift shop pm me and i'll draw you a fucking map)

in all seriousness, it's a real pisser imo. there's a homeless guy asleep on the fucking street outside of this place and i just don't understand what's going on. all of sudden a bunch of my local places are charging ebay prices for local shit. whatever. i paid $16 for this sweetie, for the record.

I figured they'd be worth something. I bought that $10 trashed jacket figuring those would be salvageable, but I just saw the same set of buttons under sold listings went for

    $131

Starting to go through a massive chunk of backlog and wanted to through up a few cool ones.

I know I should have left this obvious orphan, but it's minty and it's hard to resist Brioni at $6.

This one will definitely fly under the radar but it's actually a perfect soft-shoulder tweed.

Colors on this are PERFECT, vintage 3/2 roll with hook vent. So close to fitting me but too short.

    Super loud pure cashmere.

    Wool/cash HF tweed minty minty

    This one's alright

Absolute beauty here. It says 100% wool but I would swear it's cash if I didn't have the tag.

Brioni is brioni. I would pick it up even if it were brioni underwear ( okay maybe not, unless it were cashmere/vicuna)

^wow, third listing fucked up eh?

Also, @dukedishin, idk what it is, but I feel orphans are more useable if DB as well. I'd rock that shit with jeans.

    Nice grabs!

    Revisiting fake Louis Vuitton:

I'm morally certain that this one is a fake. A good fake, but a fake. The stitching is reasonably good. The lining is a textured vinyl, not pigskin. Even the stamp looks decent. BUT the ends of the straps are not quite symmetrical. The canvas is cut ever so slightly off kilter. Somebody carried it a lot and used it a lot, but I still think it's a fake. :(
