1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

You're looking at something you should put back on the rack. Bianco Brioni ≠ Brioni

If so, I wouldn't be surprised if that was a gag and the real gift is coming later.

Speaking of, my thriftmas package will be out by the end of the week. I'd feel bad but I saw my thriftmasee post the same thing so it's a wash!

The elves are still assembling my gift for my thriftmasee. I haven't received anything either so I am hopeful the gifter is just as tardy.

This is a pop for me.

Curious if it's Upton or Anderson?

I think I found a good item. Is there a way to check if they're legit? Not much for inside labels, just a small one that says "Balmain Made in Japan" and one for the size...forgive the blurry pic, the phone is acting up.

Definitely fake. The tag wouldn't be outside on the waist band like that.

Thanks for the replies re: Lanvin. If it is the good stuff it sounds like £30 is enough to turn a profit and keep my daughter in nappies.

What about the Magee sport coat? Made in Ireland right? Worth splashing out £15?

I've had a few Ralph Lauren Black Label pieces, is this one? No size tag but buttons are in the right spot for a men's shirt. Looks like roughly a 16-33

Second from top button is missing but it takes a standard RL plastic button.

No idea of material either, feels like cashmere

I'm no expert on Balmain and personally I think that tag looks fake, the lettering looks off, but they do put their label on the rear waist of their jeans.

The ones on the ssence site have the tag on the back too and are made in Japan as well. I'm so hoping they are real; thrifting has been pretty poor for me lately, I really need something to turn it around

Are these anything special? Just another minimalist leather shoe? They're brand new.
