Ok. Well, here's a new mystery. Did Alden use Deerskin? @SpooPoker and I just did a trade and one of the other pairs arrived today. They are old enough they do not have a typical Alden style number. What we both thought was calf feels A LOT like Deerskin. It is so soft and the typical deerskin texture/grain to it. But, I haven't been able to find anything.

Anyone mind helping me out with what I've got here? Pickup from Savers today. Been enjoying reading through the thread and picked up some amazingly helpful tips. [IMG][IMG]

And now for something completely different. And by different, I mean, what was Goodwill thinking, hanging this with the Halloween costumes?

Marquis Latex fetish outfit: frill collar, ruffled bolero no-closure jacket, fitted high-waist ruffled skirt with long train. handmade in Germany. Not available on their website, but I'm guessing the original price was in the vicinity of €400.

    [IMG] [IMG]

I do confess, I thought the frilled collar was a lampshade hat. At first. Then I thought, geez, this thing could kill my friend Heather - I better make sure not to touch it any time before I see her on Monday (anaphylactic reaction to latex).

Also scored but must get someone in the house willing to pose in it outside, because I have nowhere to hang such an item for photos: French Creek Sheep and Wool Co., shearling coat, full shawl collar, lambskin suede exterior, naturally marked (Jacobs?) unsheared lambswool inside, closes with furrier hooks.Size S. Hangs on me like a little kid dressing up in mom's clothes.

I would remove the locations from your post. Don't do the research for other lurkers. I'd do this via pm with @DanM or @highvoltorb.

    Also, two things.
    1. New Salvation opened here today and I murdered it. Still camping, so pics tonight, but it's been pretty solid.

    2. @Jompso is a god among men and extremely generous. Just so everyone knows. Pics of everything tonight. Carry on gents.

    Beat by a hooker? Ummmmmm...

Bros! Anyone on here knows about Journal Standard stuff?

Anyhow, I kopped this last night. Been looking for coat like this for a bit so pretty happy. However, the measurements they provided for a size 2 is like a size L! :puzzled:

    https://archive.unionmadegoods.com/...-waterproof-gabardine-military-coat-in-black/

I've seen a bunch of JS pieces but never owned any. But I know they do slimmer fits. So why is this piece cut so much bigger?!

I hope Unionmade didn't fuck up on the measurements...

If this doesn't fit me, I'll offer it up on here for cost + shipping.
