Just got back from my honeymoon in Montral and Quebec City. Couldn't fit in any thrifting time, but the trip was amazing. So much to see and do. I'm now enamored by Canadian menswear. I don't see any street wear near me except a Wings + Horns tshirt I found for $4. Any brands to look for? What would be recommended to look for in classic menswear besides those I'm familiar with like Samuelsohn, Coppely, S Cohen and Jack Victor.

Anyone have success finding well made wool blankets in thrifts? I so want a Hudson Bay Company blanket but they were like $3-400.

That, my friend is some money. Classic retro-x cardigan, USA made? $100+, for the right buyer, assuming condition is excellent.

Encountered the worst thrift-couple in a GW today. 3 carts and were basically shutting down 2 aisles. I whipped around to the front end of one the aisles and looked at the guy. He was reading a book in the aisle with two over-flowing carts of crap while his wife was running around like a banshee in the other aisle. Lots of yelling out back and forth. And to top it off, guess who I got behind in line at check-out? Gonna chalk that one up as an "L"

Did Brooks Bros do faux-shearling way back in the day? Found this coat a week or so ago and last night while taking pics, I started questioning whether it was real shearling. The content tag is completely faded so that's no help. The "wool" seems kind of carpet-y. Some pics of the wear in the spoiler. Any signs on how to figure out what this is made of?
