Nice to know there are some true thrifts still out there. Even my best store would have that at $20, other places $30-60

The two I've found recently were both under ten. The one place typically has high prices too. After I paid I told her I was surprised it was so cheap. She said that's because it's a fake, there's no s in Burberry.

    I love thrifting.

Here's a thread first. Found a seven fold tie at my local 99 cents store. They have a small tie section but they always suck so badly. Well this one doesn't. Not bad for a dollar.

Found this in the Halloween section at Goodwill:

Jacket: 19" seam to seam at the underarm, to fit a chest to 38" max. Will fit waist to 32" max. White belt is soiled, not sure how to clean it properly.

Pants: 31XL. Inseam 34". Small white mark of some kind on front of pants, probably come out easily with dry cleaning.

No gloves, no cover. This should never have been in 'costumes', so I picked it up and am looking for a Marine in need of dress blues who can wear these measurements.

You have to admit, Marines got style.

Could be Astrakhan if it's old, or faux-Astrakhan (a form of boiled wool), if less so. Either way it would be heavy. Former would be expensive (and is considered a bit inhumane these days).

The other option would be Casetino or similar, but it looks a bit finer in texture than that.
