If you are at your wit's end why not contact brioni directly? The worst thing it could happen is they ignore you.

Pretty sure the jacket is all wool (I’ll check), and I don’t know about the buttons. It’s hard to tell from the lousy pictures, but the buttons are quite salient against the fabric in both color and texture.

Also, since apparently meeting Jompso is a thing, I’ll offer my impression. He’s very intelligent, straighforward and knowledgeable, and quite friendly in person. Based on the rants, I expected someone a little more high-strung, but he’s very laid back. He does seem to lack that filter that prevents most people from saying the first thing that pops into their head, but I can commiserate with that. I’d have a drink with the guy any day.

I'm on #TeamJompso if anyone cares. I think this thread needs a guy like him. Keeps things interesting. He's also been very cool to me personally, even after fighting with him first.

Also that Agnes B jacket for Tarantino is amazing.

Well I tried to branch out today and try some new routes, went a big 0/11 and then hit a regular store.

Attolini pop (which just tried to autocorrect to stroking pop...) I've found Attolini for Barbera before but this is the first mainline piece I've found, and it fits! Except t.rex arms :fu:

Ugliest Brioni tie I've seen so far.
I cannot see who would want to buy that except for the brand name. I passed. Am I missing something?

The uglier the item, the more people seem to pay. I sold an extremely ugly Brioni for $35 recently.

This thing is sick. Ive never seen wool like this on an overcoat. Its like a wartime casentino. Its soft like one of my kids Gund toys.

Without hearing from Brioni directly (which is doubtful they can confirm material on something but still worth a shot), its impossible to tell without a DNA analysis :)
