Couple finds, nothing too exciting in comparison to recent thread posts...

    Ties:
RT, PRL (think it may be grenadine, what do you gents think?), Altea, G&H, Ben Silver
    [IMG]

Anyones kid(s) want some Hickey Freeman ties? Noticed the pink one has a small pull after getting home..

Gloves are finally coming out - definitely a highlight here:
    Sulka:
Also picked up a couple others, one fur lined, one wool - both quickly claimed by the GF
    [IMG]

Coach, Polo, GA, Swank Made in France
    [IMG]

Couple belts - another highlight here:
    RL Lizard w/Silver Buckle/Tip
    [IMG]
    Multiple Coach belts too:

Thought this was nice, details are there - dual vent, tkt pkt, hand attached collar, etc - haven't heard of the brand though, and not much in the form of tags:

    Oxxford
    [IMG]

Kind of thinking this thing should've been a pass:

PRL Patchwork Madras, and some FF, stain free unicorns
    [IMG]

    HF and Viyella
    [IMG]

And lastly, this awesome NWOT PRL double breasted, triple patch pocket sweater:

    No.

    Again, that's herringbone.

Chevron has the two diagonal and intersecting lines meeting in a way that forms a vertical line.

Herringbone has the those two lines meeting in a way where the meeting point wanders left to right.

For woven items, you will almost never have a true Chevron, because usually the intersection is formed by weaving the two lines together, and the intersection is going to wander, making a herringbone not a chevron. At first glance that tie looks like a Chevron, but those peaks really interweave. It's subtle, but it's there.

Look at the link I posted earlier.

No spoilers on the phone so I'll share later, but I would like to thank @PLaydice (don't worry type you wanted was long long gone)

But I would just like to briefly thank the rich, famous, affluent citizens of this town for always having a tendency to...well clock out, before the nations average predicts they would. You spend the 80s in Holllywood in your life and you can't expect to ever go for a solid high number, let's just be honest with ourselves. But in short, thrifting will never occur on the weekends again, the affair has ended, I have found someone else. Actually many many others and none of you know where I live in this city, and for you stranger ones who really don't like me that's reassuring, but wearing all wool in summer, I got walk to this area, an area where 8 figures is the starting minimum and a very large amount of Hollywood greats move to to watch themselves die....I wouldn't drop a sweat or even need a drink, and these people love to die, and there all estranged so there's no family takin shit, i got a lot out the way, follow up will be be brief, but you never forget your first time....I did for like a couple months no jk but that's a whole other thing...and what I was confronted with needs brief documentation.

Dont pm me about it though, my couch is fucking dope you can't sit on it let alone stay on it...honestly when I had it made I think they hinted to avoid sitting, it just stays in the room to look good, my Indian style on hardwood game though is looking kindergarten dope

We'll start with stuff for me. Theory Ca$h full zip. LVC Sunset faded indigo shirt. Bonobos Lambswool quarter zip. Jos A Bank (pop... ha) lambswool shawl cardi.

My brother was super jealous when I thrifted this jersey last summer. I can cross him off the Christmas shopping list. NWT for $6.99. Probably $200 at the arena down the street.

    Accessories:
    [IMG] [IMG]

Ripped from a black Tom James orphan full of holes.
    [IMG] [IMG]

Most of these ties were from the same donor. I love finding collections.

    i think so...
PLaydice turned Jompso onto the LA estate sale. now Jompso will never thrift on the weekend again,
he'll be too busy mobbing dead Warner Bros houses and copping luxe housewares and clothing.
