Wayyyyyyyyyy off topic, but, I'm still a young dude. Nerdy at heart. Thrift funded an XB1 a few months ago. Any of you all play on Xbox 1? If so, what's your gamertag?

Also unrelated to thrifting sort of : I kopped a subtle pinstripe Navy suit in my size. BB Milano, is there any way to wear this casually? I'm not a big fan of ties, but I also want to try going CM once and a while.

Plain white shirt? Light blue ? Suede loafers? Wtf am I doing

Short answer is no, longer answer is wear it like you do a lot of coke.

EDIT: Only "good taste" way to wear a pinstripe suit without a tie is with a turtleneck. Otherwise, it's varying degrees of louche all the way down.

Sweet watch! If only it was an auto!

Like exact same watch but auto. Everything works. Love the stitching on the strap.

I see what was meant earlier in the thread about the texture of the denim (raw selvedge). I can't quite get my head around the idea of not washing them for months, though. Seriously?

I have a pair of 3sixteen ST100X that I bought from Spoo about a year and a half ago. They were NWT when I bought them.

I've never washed them or soaked them.

It's all about the fades and whiskering, individualizing that pair of jeans to the owner. If they start to smell, they throw them in the freezer to kill the bacteria. Yep, it's a science.

that don't kill the bacteria, it just stuns em.

And a $20 gold piece on your watch chain so they can see you stand pat?

Those collarless shirts look so 1980s meets 1880s. I don't like it, and I'm pretty sure there's no way you could call it CM/good taste/whatever, but it's a p. cool idea.

    EDIT:

This still falls into the category of "coke guy wear" for me.

Got a little DIY today on a thrifted pair of Peal & Co. chukkas. As I was brushing up the nap prepping for photos last week, a large stain appeared on the vamp of the right shoe. I paid up a bit for these things and was upset. Tried suede cleaner, thought it took care of it, and as soon as I brought the nap back up after they dried, same spot appeared. So I busted out the Sno Seal and turned them into waxed suede chukkas. The original suede was so soft soft, it was sort of tough to do it, but they came out looking pretty good, I think. 10D and available if anyone is interested.
