That’s about 2 inches, baby!

I watched these for about three months, waiting for 69 cent color tag Saturday to align with a day I could go. Finally snagged them. Partly for the fun, as they haven’t much use as is, and partly to send to a cobbler friend who repairs and resells used footwear.

He might be able to take an inch off of the heel.

1st things first: massive shoutout and thank you to @dadjeans for being an incredibly generous human and sending me this killer RRL shacket when I mentioned how cool I thought it was. Very, very stand up guy.

Next,2 e-thrifts that came in yesterday and today. N/A

Everything that follows is a mix of regular thrift and diggin’ in the bins. Vintage little e Levi’s 501’s are both 70’s, full selvedge and were found 2 days apart.

Maybe @Backhand or some of the other tennis dudes can weigh in on how I did for $6.19

French Interior design mag from 1983 and a timely McEnroe biography found same trip as the racquets

yay tennis stuff, is the Hyperprostaff 95 a 16x19? Wilson just reissued it last year but it is a well liked frame and they only reissued the 18x20. Delpotro won the US Open using one painted as something else btw. Part of the reason people like it is all the kevlar in it. It is a good stick.
