You might already know this @kbadgley84 , but some Barkeeper's Friend and a green scrubbie will make that All-Clad shine like new. I used to sell for them (All-Clad) and that stuff never failed.

Had a decent couple days. Dry spell (temporarily) lifted!

Came across a beautiful Zegna jacket on Monday. Unfortunately, it was an orphan that I could not reunite so I was pretty bummed until I saw this.

I had been looking for Zegna jeans in my size (32). My joy quickly turned into despair when I tried them on and realized they aren't vanity sized at all.

First time seeing MOP buttons on S&S, and both the shirts have them. Really liking the gray chambray one. It also has weird buttons

They are great shoes. Easily just as nice as the grail level English brands.

If anything, it can be a brand you can remember to search for. Maybe an e-thrift opportunity will present itself some day.

So, last week, I pick up a pair of deadstock Vans "Johnny Ramone" loafers. I don't typically buy Vans, but the resale on these is pretty sweet.

Anyway, I walk in the store today and the lady who sold me the Vans says that she had another pair of shoes from the same guy. She brings me a pair of deadstock canvas goodness. So, vintage Nike guys, I know that these are probably not anything really special. Is there a name for this model? I know that they are 1992 (I think). Any other info?

These Jil Sanders by Lattanzi are the only ones I have seen in 15 years.
They retailed for 2 grand in the late 90s
Completely handmade and the leather felt like silk.
He makes a croc shoe that costs $18K

True. I don't always equate higher price to being better. Same as my feeling that a $10K Stefano Ricci suit is not better than a $5k Oxxford.

I've only handled two pairs of Lattanzi shoes, so certainly not the most qualified to make a broad statement, but would say the leather is the same quality as on my personal Lobb and EG pairs. The soles are handwelted (I believe) so you could argue that makes Lattanzi better, but I've never cared about hand welted vs goodyear. Definitely a matter of opinion.

I don't mean to say anything bad about them because they are great, just feeling they probably don't need to be that exspensive.
