Denim belongs in CM. hating other's fits is stupid, odd vests rule, grey pants suck, thinking you know style better than others, because you read a book is stupid. "the safe choice" is weak. white shirts are hard to keep clean. dissing peoples finds is weak. being anything but nice makes you a douche.

Most annoying trend on the thread is the overuse of the words "bro" and "homey"

So, what exactly is the problem with flipping? I read the (main) thread before I started posting and there didn't seem to be so much negative feeling towards it. I've definitely mentioned eBay in some of my posts, and I apologize if that offended anyone, I really didn't know. But seriously, what's the big deal? Just for future reference.

+1 on the odd waistcoat thing (on occasion).

I don't either given that most of the regulars have the links to their ebay store in their Sig with every post so...

^^ Back in the thread's early days, the word flip or term "sell on eBay" were pretty much taboo. I was very careful to not mention or imply any intentions to sell stuff. Most people bought for themselves and if they sold on the side, they were quiet about it. About 4 years ago or so people lightened up a bit about it. I'm glad they did, but I agree that a lot of the complaints about how eBay runs their company these days and such don't belong there.

J also used to post all his prices and that's no longer in favor.

I'm not part of the threads history, but the issues I would see is if people got help on the thread and never offered anything to trade and so were profiting from knowledge without hooking anyone up. I suppose contribution of knowledge counts heavily as well.

Yeah I definitely think the hardcore eBay talk should be reserved for other threads or PMs, but is mentioning that you're planning to sell, or bragging about how much you sold something for a big faux pas?
