Does it have any inside pockets?

Ooo. I forgot about that. I love jackets that have a small inside pocket like on suits. Any word, dis? Not a huge deal but a small detail i generally get a lot of use out of

Ok, I've decided to take orders for the leather jacket series starting next week, around Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll also finally have my perfecto (I made this one in heavy cowhide, it's tough as nails and got a traditional look to it, it'll take quite a bit of time to break in fully) and a brown A2 sample to show you guys.

As for the reversible varsity/MA1 and the G'Harrington, they are ready for order now.

I will update the front page with info and try to organize shiz better.

Leather options for the first week:

    black lamb (very thick)
black cowhide (even thicker, traditional moto jacket leather)

brown lamb (same as black but in dark brown aniline dye, beautiful)
brown micro-pebble grain (thick, and with perhaps a slight bit more durability/vintage look)

Other colors, I am currently inquiring as there are a lot of different leathers out there, but only a few that are suitable for this project and fewer still that match my quality requirements, it has to be really impressive leather in the hide before I turn it into a jacket.
Also, matching zippers to non black or brown can be a big task, especially for off colors or lighter colors, it's not zipper teeth that are the problem, it's finding matching zipper tape and then the right combo of guages and lengths that I use, the moto and perfecto (double rider's) jackets for instance uses 3 different kinds of zippers a piece, and they all have to match in zipper teeth tone and taping. Not always there.

Anyway, we can talk about options and I can go check on availability, and come back and tell you if we can make it, in a day or so.

Fuck man, everything you put out look so damn cool. I remember being excited about you doing a varsity project at the beginning of summer but I couldn't imagine it would come to this. Awesome.

if you went the moto cowhide, I'm pretty sure it'll outlive you, and look amazing around the time you die of old age, unfortunately, haha. That stuff is so thick, it's nearing 3mm, it's like 2-3 kilos per hide, so the finished cowhide jackets will weigh something like 3-4lbs perhaps. It's gonna take the next couple years of your life, with hard real life wear, to wear in properly and start to blossom.
The lamb, it's so delicate, if you're a person who can take care of clothes well, then possibly it too, the lamb tends to break in within a couple days though and will blossom much more quickly, within the season you wear it I'm hoping, and then go for a few more.

I really, really like the way a non-matte unwashed traditional leather with a bit of finished sheen looks after a year or two of hard wear; you need those insane arm honeycombs, you need the bit of calandering that moisture and friction give to the high wear points, you get a few wrinkles in the back from sitting on chairs, the neckband takes on a more permanent shape, and all of those hidden snaps I've put on these jackets will start to come out and look awesome.

I am just starting man. [IMG] That varsity jacket was unplanned and I never thought it'd lead to this, but I've slid into it and it's working out, I'm really proud of the new pieces and how they've turned out, it's going well and I'm hitting a stride now. I have quite a few more things I will put out before the end of this year (hopefully within a month from now) that I think will fill a few more blanks in people's wardrobes and I'll continue to price everything aggressively, so that everybody who wants something can get it.
I am gonna turn back around and start working on wool pieces, there will definitely be a peacoat, my interpretation of a duffle coat, and then maybe a layering piece or two, and then I have a number of pants I would like to do, plus some basic bags once I get a manufacturing lead on those. I am not sure if shirts are gonna make their appearance soon or not, I want to bring stuff at certain prices and shirts aren't doable right now, as-is. They'll all be very wearable and fitted, as perfectly crafted as I can get them, and in incredible feeling materials.

    Back to the lab....
