Yeah I don't think drew is interested in making the high necks or those sorta leathers, at least from what he has said to me

Thank you, anything more true red and not so maroonish? Thinking about a bright red for warmer weather, the maroon could definitely be used as a direct replacement for black, thus making it more versatile.

I don't think they actually made any true red leathers yet.

does this have to do with uneasiness re just recreating or slightly reimagining specific lux pieces? iirc drew talks about that on the website. its something i really respect about his operation, although lately he appears to be more open to that sorta thing.

Its just a fencing jacket made from leather with a few other touches. In fact, one of the drawbacks of the CCP/Julius/Rick Owens leathers has always been the shitty distressing. I just want a clean, interesting looking jacket.

Maybe Saint Drew will answer the prayers of the faithful.

When I asked Charlie about a high neck asymmetric bomber (before we ironed out details on my bomber), he said no way, doesn't fit TOJ aesthetic. Wouldn't get your hopes up guys. Plus there's a good reason why they're doing modern interpretations of classic leathers: the dudes that are making them are probably pretty old and have been making slight variations of the same jacket for years. Probably just plain too much trouble to make something completely different.

totes (I might change to a nice custom TOJ dust bag once these totes run out, and these are running low.... thoughts? more totes or a big dustbag?) are free with pea or duffle coat.

Mr pea maker is indeed out of hospital, APK's coat is finally out as of today and with me, and then the rest should move along. Been taking it a little slow around here not because I really wanted to, but because the leathers and shirts are the only things making progress lately and that's all I could say. Like this big animal you keep prodding to move, but it only moves when it finally feels like it - that's what it is like to make clothes, if you're not the man behind all 30 machines or something.
