Have you ever gotten any of these repair jobs to actually last? I’ve never managed, so I’ve moved to fabrics which last better. Also losing weight has been great...

Out of the 3 repair jobs I've done (flannel, linen and cotton twill) flannel is showing most wear. They're done in a different cut than all my other ones though, so it's not really a fair comparison. I have another flannel on a different pattern that I got september 2018 that hasn't worn out yet (but is getting noticeably thinner in the crotch).

Flannel is impossible for me. I don't have the same problem with other fabrics though.

I see. Have you tried the UK mills? I have heavier English flannels that in comparison seem absolutely bullet proof. I've worn down the lining but there's no sign of wear on the actual fabric inside or out. But they're really two different things. Stòffas' I find way more elegant and easy to wear with fine knitwear etc. Different flannels for different occasions I guess

Any recommendations on fabrics? I've only tried rtw in italian fabrics.

Not sure where mine are from, but Fox is always a good place to start. I can ask my tailor what mine are if you want. Let me know.

Thanks for helping @JIMB @kalufsen , you both helped me decide on my next order. ?

I think they are an elevated version of the cream chino / odd trousers with more depth and texture in both color and material.

Does anyone have experience with their bags, mainly the 002 and 003?

I've also looked pretty seriously at their bags and think the materials and construction are very nice. In talking to Nick and Agyesh and looking at how their bags have aged I think the bags will hold up to pretty serious wear and develop a really nice patina. The only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on the 002 is that I have a perfectly fine work briefcase but I actually think the price point is pretty good if you like the aesthetics
