what other brands do you guys know of that sell the camp collar front pocket shirts similar to Stoffa? Key here is camp collar and 2 front pockets lol... and button down.

Short answer: no one that I know of.

Otherwise, both Bryceland's and Scott Fraser Collection make camp collar shirts with two front flap pockets. The problem is Bryceland's collar is comically long while their pockets are miniscule (by comparison to Stoffa) and an uninteresting shape. SFC has a nicer camp collar but ditto with the pockets.

Proper cloth can make one, but you can't tweak collar dimensions and neither can you tweak pocket dimensions and style. Effectively useless.

I think that one of Stoffa's strength is putting it's own tweaks (nice collars and generous pockets with nicely shaped non-closure pocket flaps) on existing designs, but tweaks that aren't readily found elsewhere. Interestingly, I have an old Zegna camp collar that is near identical to Stoffa's (long sleeve, camp collar, button down, two non-closure front flap pockets with identical shape). But that shirt must be 20 years old and even its collar and pockets are probably slightly smaller in dimension than Stoffa's.

suit supply has more than copied a few stoffa looks- products, tonality, and styling. While they do have access to nice fabric in their suiting/jacketing, the OTC fabric offerings are usually a bit lackluster and nowhere near the level of stoffa. combine that with cut differences that are hard to see in images, they just don't compare. which is why I wish stoffa went back to their videos and describing the cloths for each capsule. this is coming from someone who can't stomach most of the stoffa prices, especially these days...

seems like random japanese brands have been doing this for a minute

visvim

ts(s)

kaptain sunshine

refomed (never heard of it before)

blue button seems to have quite a selection of them (even has a kapital one in wool!), hide and seek a couple more options

but with no idea what variables youre solving for (cost, fabric, difference of cut, etc.) none of this may that helpful

Stoffa prices are absolutely shameful. As a Canadian the camp collar shirts are almost $1000 for me. Wtf? Ok great your quality is nice but you arent Loro Piana or Tom Ford here buddy.
Hard for me to stand by a brand that price gauges their customers.

I love the brand but agree on the pricing issue. I find the strategy to hike prices the last few years quite unsettling as a consumer.

I believe their production volume is very low right now as I saw some pieces from the last collection sell out quickly on their website (like on the first week). So they are going for a lower volume, higher prices strategy it seems? Good if you want exclusivity, but they are surely letting out some former clients who just can’t afford (or stomach) current prices.

Personally I’ve been cherry picking some items that I absolutely love, but I’d buy much more frequently if prices were more reasonable. And I’m worried about future collections - will they keep raising prices (sort of testing the market) or is it a one-time price repositioning, fueled by post-Covid cost increases?

BTW do you pay more for being in Canada, besides the exchange rate? I believe they absorb any import duties when shipping abroad.

Hard to judge production from external POV when a good chunk of their business is MTO/MTM. I'm not sure if web stock is same as store stock but wouldn't be surprised if they reduce web stock just so store has stuff for walk ins.

As for price, I'd probably expect annual increases at this point, especially with the additional overhead from storefront.

Makes sense. The pieces I mentioned sold out quickly were only available MTM/MTO. They appeared sold out on the website and staff confirmed by email when I inquired. They probably ran out of fabric, some used dead stock cloths.

But I agree, hard to judge. Their Instagram profile recently mentioned some pieces were only available in store.

I just hope future prices follow inflation / cost increases instead of testing the market to see how high they can go.

That'd be nice but feel like it's surpassed inflation / normal cost increases.

This is at $3k now, was like $2.4k last f/w, and like $2.2k 2 or 3 years ago.

I agree, pricing has increased quite a lot, to the point some of it is getting really hard to justify even if you’re just buying a few pieces per year.
I paid $1900 + $500 for personal pattern for my asymmetric coat in 2018, sure that’s a while ago, but it’s currently $3195. I really want to replace mine but it’s just so much more expensive now. Plus the SEK to USD rate doesn’t help, but that’s not their fault 😅

FWIW, apparently they aren’t charging for a personal pattern anymore. I was measured for a bunch of different items this year and ordered a few of them at no extra charge. And they cover any import duties it ordering from abroad (like in the EU). Nothing that completely compensates current prices, but the duties payment in particular helps.
