I want to go back to work. I'm bored out of my mind. ?
I started watching that about a month or so ago. I'm just sad I missed the D&D episode before it was removed.
If you don't mind watching it mirrored, it's on Dailymotion. (I was just searching to see why it was removed, and it showed up in Google.)

What was so bad about the D&D episode that it was removed?

I wound up watching the whole run of Community over the last couple of weeks. Streaming episodes were only like 21 minutes long so the seasons spooled by pretty quickly. It was okay but sort of uneven. I'm watching Arrested Development now. I just finished season 1.

The one thing I get consistently from talking to friends and former colleagues is that nobody really wants to go back to work. Not just work-the-way-it-was -- sitting on a train to a desk in an office building -- but work-at-all. If I had a buck for every time I've heard "****, I wish I could just retire!", I'd have quite a few bucks.

2 months ago I was as enthusiastic about my job as I've ever been. Then I got a new manager, and now I'm desperate to get the **** out.

That was the joke goiing around about all the anti-shutdown military cosplayers a couple of months ago: they prepped for the wrong armageddon. Instead of building bunkers and stockpiling MREs they should have been stockpiling TP and building up their Netflix lists.

"Instead of building bunkers and stockpiling MREs they should have been stockpiling TP and building up their Netflix lists." is a pretty nice example of chiasmus if I do say so myself.

How many of your friends have started podcasts and/or streaming shows during the pandemic?

I have at least 4.

As I’ve detailed earlier in this thread, I’m in the same boat, just a couple months more. Bad managers get worse in work from home situations.

As for me, I’ve had two meetings with a company and expect to hear from them on Monday.
