I have been kinda social distancing but I started to feel some aches and pains in my back/arms this morning. Also a very slight headache.

Hmm.

I was on a call today with the leukemia and lymphoma society(my mom had multiple myeloma) re COVID and I don't have any of other symptoms and am really not concerned. I may have just slept/not slept soundly the last 2 days.

Spring break, day 20. It’s three AM and my dogs have just come inside. My neighbor with schizophrenia, who lives alone and is off his meds, was just yelling at my house, threatening to call the authorities if my dogs continue to try and attack him. I went outside. I listened as he continued to yell. He believes the dogs are barking because we don’t give them food. He threatened to call PETA and the authorities. I said, Hey, neighbor, can you hear me? Can you listen for a second?, and he stepped inside, saying, No, no, I won’t talk to you. (This after yelling uninterrupted for several minutes).

Dilemma: If I send police over for a welfare check, he’ll know it’s us. He’s already threatened to come over if the dogs go back outside. If I send police for a welfare check, I could have to interact with a population that interacts with everyone, risking illness. It’s possible our neighbor could have to go somewhere for evaluation, putting his health at risk.

Did I say it’s 3 AM?

I'm into the organizing the pantry phase of self-isolation.

My wife is at the "Queen of England is coming" level of cleaning the house.

(But TBF I'm almost at the "Gordon Ramsay is coming" level of cleaning the kitchen.)

Which reverts back to why you are organizing your pantry, god forbid he goes in there and finds something expired!

Update:

I have been in most of the day except when I went outside for some air at around 2. That was appr 5 min.

I feel some chills and now have the slightest of coughs. Nothing major...though I have read that some have that symptom. I also understand that a fever is a symptom.......and I don't have one right now.

I do plan to get as much rest as possible tonight. I have dinner for tonight and tomorrow, water, aspirin, juice and beer....plus loads of toilet paper.

I am never one to panic and am not now. I am laying around in sweats watching Youtube/Netflix.
