Thanks for all the input. I'm basically looking for just a conditioner with very minimal cleaner in it. Reno is great but does take some finish off (not as much as AE's cleaner/conditioner), that's why I was thinking of the #2 Neutral cream. Prior to Reno, I used Meltonian's leather balm and I recently purchased Saphir's version and want to see if it's similar. It's still a cleaner but hopefully milder. I guess Venetian is another option.

    Thanks for all the feedback.

Any good conditioner is going to take off a good deal of polish. They are designed to penetrate so that is what they will do.

Sorry, but don't you read the information you're passing along before you post it?

Clearly all the Saphir he's been sniffing has affected his brain.

    To each his own.

    Hello Winston,

Yes, unless it was posted by my pal who would not take my word for anything . . . Hence the reason why he skipped over the portion mentioning the quote was from Allen Edmonds themselves in direct answer and context as to how he phrased it. Perhaps the AE employee should have responded with a curt reply instead o responding with what they did.

    David

PS: Then again - maybe the Six-pack gang here are form a knee-jerk committee to slow down the rhetoric:

David, I recommend you read people's questions, several times, until you get it, before even attempting answering.

Your nonsensical answer about something un-related, shows that you didn't understand the question in any way.

Better yet, please don't answer any more questions and we will all be better off.

Regardless of where the response was sourced from, if it doesn't make sense in response to the question, why pass it along?

    Kind of reminds me of:
