For the Saphir pros: I am wondering what product to go for if I just want primarily the "conditioner" part of Reno (basically no, or minimal cleaner). I've seen "lotion" and the "nappa" products and I'm wondering what others recommend? From what I've read Venetian seems to be a good conditioner too. Need something for lighter color shoes. For darker colors, I assume my Saphir cream polish have enough stuff in it to condition...

Ron Rider thinks that Saphir Creme Universelle is a good conditioner.

I prefer MdO Lotion over Reno, it's easy to apply and more suited for the simple cleaning before polishing.
I rarely use my Renovateour, too rich for well cared shoes that don't need particular work.

Never tried Creme Universale, or Nappa Reno (probably perfect for Women Bags or maroquinerie, lamb leather etc.)

Another great conditioner I tried and can recommend is the Collonil Premium Lotion, based on aloe vera.

"Our best advice in caring for you shoes is to trust them with someone who knows and cares about shoes!"

Second, pertaining to the above quote from your web page - for those of us who have ventured out of the big city to the Rocky Mountains - would you join the ranks of those who recommend to mail in their shoes to a professional shiner to obtain a head-start?

    All my best,

    David

What's your favorite brand of shoe polish? I tend to use Kiwi.

The smell is nice yes however no doubt some brands are better at removing scuff marks than others. What brand of polish do you use?
