Has anyone else been getting random phantom tracking numbers from Ralph showing up in FedEx app? Last December I got 2 or 3. And I got a couple this summer. A couple times I received a holiday gift but last time was 3 years ago.

I just hate a bare wrist, seems like something is missing. And I like old looking things. Not Apple Watch 1 old, old old.

Curious how you all came across or got into RRL? I've always been into Japanese Americana like Visvim, Real McCoys, Buzz Ricksons, Kapital etc. Then I found RRL and something about the look really captivated me, and I thought it captured a unique aesthetic that really no other brand has replicated to me. Now it's taking up more and more of my wardrobe lol.

Also one thing I'm kind of disappointed in with RRL is that so much of their stuff is made in China now a days. I get there are plenty of factories in China with the means to create quality garments with high quality materials, but it's still a hard stigma to get over in my mind. Especially when you sell clothes that are rooted in blue collar rural Americana traditions. Definitely want him to move more of his manufacturing to the USA.

I guess back to same question, who is going to make them, not in the know, but based on past discussion in other threads seems like to make quality garment in scale it's hard to do made in US.

I do believe that there is still plenty of garment manufacturing capability in the USA, I think it just comes down to the brand cost cutting unfortunately.

Cost cutting for margin expansion, yes. Plenty U.S. based denim makers are able to field jeans at less than $495 a pop, so I suspect this is about extracting every last penny of consumer's surplus one can from that demand curve. I was just having that discussion the other day. It's why I will likely never buy another pair of RRL jeans. Of course, I have plenty, so I'm not going to be doing my grocery shopping nekkid anytime soon, but I am looking more at makers like Imogene and Willie and Freenote these days, and less at RRL, which is just bad value in my mind

going back to my old solution buy from eBay, Realreal, poshmark, griled..., not really a denim head, so I need one light wash that's about it, instead of trying more fits from more brands think I'm just going to hunt deal on RRL on 2nd hand for the known factor...
