Yeah last year WFH I embraced the cargo pant. I’ve been wearing the olive surplus ones a lot. Also got the black ones and a camo pair. Also got some indigo Polo tapered leg ones that I like and a pair with big ass monkey pocket.
Camo ones lean a bit too much Cabela’s guy.

Is the waist on the olive big for you as well?

The olive, black, and camo ones are the same style and all fit about the same. Waist is fine for me. (If too big, eat more sammiches.) Rise is a bit higher than I like but okay.

Black ones are the same as the nordy ones. No fit pics, but they come faded so they don't have that creepy police tactical look.

BTW, Nordstrom's is terrible with fulfillment time. I ordered some shampoo and a pair of Birkenstocks recently and had them shipped because I'm too lazy to go into a store. It took over a week before they shipped. They were like this in the before times too and oddly, last year during the pandemic they shipped pretty quickly.

I keep an eye on Nordstrom’s site for running shoes as they occasionally have what I’m looking for marked down really low and they are ALWAYS the absolute slowest in shipping. It seems like they always take at least a week or 10 days just to get them packaged up and out the door.

Is there anymore RRL items for sale? For the life of me, I can’t figure out how you guys are able to find the mark down RRL items on Nordstrom’s website or app :freeze:

So Nordstrom may be slow to process, but sure as heck is quick to cancel. Received cancellation notices for most of my items a little while ago. Bummed :( Hope you all have better luck!

As mentioned previously, it looks like they currently have all their RRL sale items hidden; possibly for contractual reasons, possibly due to human error, possibly to save for a later sale, who knows.

Some clever domain hacking shows the pages are still accessible though. For me, taking the domain for the RRL branded items:

and doing a google search for pages in that domain:

site:https://www.nordstrom.com/brands/rrl

Then replacing the "brands" with "s" (their link deliniation for "sale"):

site:https://www.nordstrom.com/s/rrl

Brings up all the hidden pages.

I think most of those rrl items at Nordstrom were at the downtown Seattle store. They were showing as same day pick up in store for that location or next day for other Seattle area stores.

What also can happen is there are things 'saved' for additional markdowns by unscrupulous employees. That is, their inventory system would show stock, but when another staffer attempted to locate there is none so the order is cancelled.

I knew a couple of employees at Barney's that used to pull this, one of the many reasons I was not shocked to learn they weren't in business any more.
