Wow nice work. Bravo. I believe the cut of the new LE jeans is ”relaxed fit” and “straight leg” while those you have are “high slim” and “tapered” so they may break in differently. Blue Owl claims those were the heaviest RRL denim in two decades and the fade is paying off.
There is a vintage clothing store called 10 Ft Single near my house that for some odd reason which even the staff can’t explain, has like 10-12 pairs of old slim, straight and wide leg RRL denim jeans for $125 each. I took a shot of the inner pocket care instructions of one of the older pairs.

Those old pocket care labels bring me back to the old days of copping RRL at eBay & outlet malls ??‍♂️

BTW, if you watch the walking dead or Avengers movies, you’ll see a lot of RRL. Recently watched the Avengers and couldn’t help but notice :p Also, was in Malibu last year and apparently Bruce Willis is getting fitted with tons of RRL. They bought dozens of each style of the Henley, denim shirts and jackets for I think the new die hard film. Pretty cool.

Ol Bruce definitely digs denim. I’ve seen him a few times out and about wearing head to toe denim... including a denim cap!

I have the 18oz limited high slim from maybe a few years back and they are a beauty. I def recommend the heavy weight denim from RRL...now only if they did a 21oz haha FYI they are very stubborn denim to fade, but mine are coming along pretty well. If anyone wants pics of them worn in, let me know :)
Edit... nice fades!

Anyone here wears a fedora hat? I had a non-RRL summer fedora (probably a trilby as its brim was narrow), but this is my first RRL Wool Felt Fedora. It probably would have been safer to get the black or brown fedora, but I really like the olive shade here. While my picture makes it look a lot darker than the official picture, out in the sun IRL, the olive shade is more prominent. Still, it's slightly darker than the official picture - which makes it more versatile IMO.

The hat is great. The "signature" box is meh.

I wear hats, mostly western shapes but also a couple fedoras. If they made these out of fur felt, I would definitely pick one up. Being made out of wool, they are extremely inferior to fur felt, and not nearly close to being worthy of the price, even at 60% discount.

Hello all I have no idea how to legit check RRL if you would be so kind as to look at this jacket and tell me what you think. Thank you.

Is fake RRL a common thing? I always thought it’s fairly niche for a market of forging. Even this thread as long as it is, has a relatively small number of people commenting on it.

oh yeah there’s tons of fakes on eBay. Seller Olivewh0 on eBay sells fakes from Asia is what I’ve noticed. Other members here have flagged him as well.
