My only “zipper” experience from RL (aside from pants) were from RLBL, at least those were solid, I mean it was my only fall to early winter jacket for like 8 years, no issue.

How to know the zipper oem for the RRL branded zippers? I can only recall one time ever having a zipper failure. It was a riri.

I've heard Talon zippers are prone to failure. Should you stay away from expensive RRL jackets fitted with such zippers?
Nah. I've had a Patagonia zipper, actually 2 or 3, give up the ghost and maybe, a long time ago, a Polo field jacket. Easy to replace. Nary an RRL zipper.

Not sure what kind they use, but I've found Brunello zippers to be pretty bad. One on a jacket took a couple dozen wears to get "unsticky", and another on a duffle bag did that "open on both sides of the pull" thing.

Brunello zippers are the worst. I've had to completely replace the entire zipper assembly, including all the tracking, on 2 hoodies after the zippers failed in the same manner. I think the issue was just with that particular hoodie style, but at the prices they charge, it is unbelievable.

I have had no issues with RRL talon zippers.

I think that a couple of you bought this. Was the sizing small? I just received one in M that I can barely get on with just a tee.

I didn't plan on buying anything this season, then this happens...

The sweatshirt and sweatpants are coming in on Monday. Two T-shirts and the Herringbone Overshirt are for myself. The rest bought as gifts for a family member.

I'm really happy with Herringbone Overshirt. The indigo is so deep it almost hides the herringbone pattern, the placket hides the buttons and provides a real minimal look, the 2 top pockets actually have buttons with loops under the flaps, and I'm surprised the simple decoration of the thin lines in the middle of the pockets really add to the overall look. The 4 pockets make it looks like a jacket, but the material is thin and soft so it feels like a shirt. Like @henryfool3 with his hbt, I'm going to get a lot of mileage out of this one.

Waiting on the full drop on Spring but a lot of them seem to be the same but different color. That is disappointing even though they look great with different colors.

I want more special and unique items.
