As mentioned before, yes- true to RRL size. Measurements:

P2P 20”
Waist 19” (taper not too aggressive)
Shoulder 18”
Sleeve 25.5”

These are all perfect for my frame. And the sleeves aren’t baggy, something I’ve disliked about other RRL and Purple Label denim jackets.

It’s the perfect Northern California weight. I wear it over this or this, for example:

But not this:

Mostly because of the cuffs. Thicker shirts make it harder to get the jacket cuffs buttoned.

EDIT: Dang it, forgot to mention I also like to throw a down vest or shawl cardigan over it.

Thanks for those details!

So what are the recommendations on trucker RRL or not, I like Barbanera but feels expensive for synthetic shearling and cord (still $400 on sale?)

Endorsement for the winter rollout Moleskin Pant. The product pics are off — half of them show a brown cord for some reason, and the others don’t quite capture the color — but it’s a winner. A little high at retail but keep an eye for them on sale. From the virtual tour:

that looks like olive/brown, the stock photo on the guy looks just basically brown, without the guy looks distressed..., seriously RL needs to do something with these photos...
