Does anyone own the original gambler here that can post some pics? Im curious how the color has changed. I have the v2 with the liner and sheepskin collar, but really regret not picking up the original.

Funny you mentioned the Gambler. One of the buffalo nickle button shanks just broke on mine. I remember that being a common complaint.

I fortunately havent had that happen to any buttons yet, but I do always hang onto the extra buttons just in case. For some reason I have big pile of hang tags as well. Moving into warmer weather I find myself really wishing they would do another version of the gambler as that would be perfect in the PNW for cool evenings.

I just ordered some buffalo nickel buttons off amazon. The one that broke is front and center of the jacket. I think I'll move one of the buttons from the waist up and put the replacement there depending on how they look and how much of a PITA it is to detach/reattach. They're not sewn on but rather held on using leather ties.

RRL Hand Tooled Leather Billfold arrived yesterday. Really cool looking piece. I was due for a new wallet as my old Indian Motorcycle one was ready to retire. Pleased with the purchase, just wish it was on the 40% sale.

The original Gambler jacket is probably one of the best RRL pieces they ever did. I really regret not getting one. I have the Mendoza jacket from a couple years later that I love, but I'm not sure it's as good as the Gambler.

Got this on sale. Wife said I looked like a woodchuck. Daughter said it's a nice pink plaid that I probably shouldn't wear in Yellow Knife or Bad Axe.
I like it with repaired jeans.

Stoked to finally grab a set of the tooled braces from the sale, been eyeing these for several seasons. All RRL with tab collared shirt (should have ironed it!), selvedge denim tie and twill suit.

I live near the Melrose store and it is indeed boarded up. I was told that every single item in there was taken. Everything. My dog's daycare is across the street from it, and then even looted the couple hundred stuffed animals and squeaky toys lining the walls up front.
