Yes indeed. Style is horribly cliche and shallow -- so people who blast selfies of themselves on the interwebs should have thick skin, me included -- :)

He looks like a mismatched mess, to me. And at his age -- yes, at his age -- he'd look much more classic in suede or something less hipster. Again, my opinion, be it shallow, cliche, and / or judgmental -- which is what fashion is.
Less hipster? Hipster can't afford a $700 RRL sweater.

Not a stranger at all!

In fact, I have a vest in my closet that still has its tags from five years ago. I tuck them in the armhole when I wear the vest.

They've been there this long—might as well roll with it. :)
Don't use this one too often, but:

Not dressing age-appropriate. To me, he is dressing younger than his years, and it looks awkward. He should be dressing more casual than hipster-ish.

That is my opinion. Thank you for letting me have it.

I don't think it's all that off base for his age. Tassel loafers, white 5 pocket and a shawl cardigan. All seem compatible with an old man. Just my opinion as well.

In a court show, a guy at least in his 80's came in wearing a Schott biker jacket and the judge was effusive in her praise of his style. He did look pretty cool, I must say. In 2020 I'm thinking that anyone can wear about anything and some will like some will not, but, how's it go - opinions are like....

On another subject: in lieu of face masks some docs are recommending face coverings when we go out to ward off the large droplets. (Why in God's name aren't there masks here? rhetorical )
So, I took the liberty of modeling some RRL cotton scarves. (Fearing ageist remarks I covered up.)

Hipsters wear lumberjack flannels, oversized beanies, and boots where I'm at. That guy dresses more like #menswear which is fitting as that's where he was first photographed.

While it's certainly not my style I think the way he dresses is fine.

Ha ha! If we're all going to hell, let's go in style!

A friend of my wife's made me a filtered face mask that's pretty cool. I'm asking her to retrofit some RRL bandanas to do the same thing.
