1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Nice!
Ya, I'm also a 30 inseam and several times I've gotten 35 or even 36...and other times they are 28...don't understand quality control with them when it comes to stuff like that. Oh well.

This. Expect them to stretch another size up in waist and overall with some wear. After which you could have them taken in some.

No they do not, and they don't look like the ones on the site either, I got some last week, no pull tab on the back and no cats paw sole as they describe.

I love the historical side to clothing, but at a certain point things start to look more like a costume than everyday clothes. In current fashion I really don't get how baggy pants fit in (other than from a comfort standpoint). But that's just me.

Im hoping the spokane sl fits a bit slimish..I like how levis 501s are...even tho I usally go for the size up in them for ensured comfort...only downside is a belt is a must

I know this probably gets asked a lot...but what's the difference between the slims and the slim straights? Are the slims just more tapered? Do they fit the same throughout generally?

Slim fits taper and are lower rise. The difference in rise was only half an inch on my size between slim and slim straight which is barely worth noting IMO.

The rise is so low on all the slims I have. Other than that, I love them.
Just bought a pair of the rigid slim straight in my same size I wear for slims. Hopin they fit. Would be awesome if that the rise was a couple inches bigger.

The slim straights address this issue...........but they hardly make them - maybe one model per season, if that.

slim straight has a classic medium-high rise. more comfortable than rigid slims but i prefer the taper of the latter

Based on the measurements, the leg opening is the same on the slims I have and the slim straights. We'll see!

They should do more of the slim straight though. The rise on the slims are crazy low...
