Here is a fit pic taken at the Melrose RRL.

I have this one in a L and it is a little fitted as well / slim arm but length is more standard then one above.

:cringe:

can you unbutton the top button and repost?

It looks great though

I was going to ask about the legitimacy of these t's that I found yesterday...

But then seeing Robear's mention of RRL on Melrose, I looked it up and realized I now live less than half a mile away... Time for a walk.

my SA said the private sale starts this weekend.

A little birdie told me the Private Sale starts nex Thursday. Sun Valley and Isle of Man groups included but not Icon. Apparel 30% w/15% kicker and outerwear 40% w/15% kicker. Get you lists together to send to Robert (Dastig) if you use him as some items are sure to move fast i.e....wool peacoats! JAT

 Good Luck, R

Private sale update:

Just got confirmation of markdowns for RRL

Presale starts Thursday 10/25. Sale will go public after a week. For those who aren't familiar presale is just an opportunity for good RL customers to get the sale before it goes public. They will usually send out special unique codes for online and will allow the sales associates to use their discretion on whether or not to off it to customers in the store that week. I can apply it for any of you.

Sun Valley and Isle of Mann will be included (Our first two fall groups) Search RL with those terms and it should show all the items that were in those collections.

Clothing is 30% + 15% kicker (except sweaters and outerwear will receive 40% + 15%)

Icon core and Fall icon excluded.

Accessories that were part of the 2 groups will be included (I think 30 + 15)

Boots will be 30% + 15%.

The earliest the company will allow us to starting putting items on hold for the sale is Tuesday. So, if you guys missed out on Give in Style and need anything, please email me and I will start to put items on hold on Tuesday.

Thanks again for the guys who buy from me. You are definitely helping out the Chicago RRL market.

Best Regards,

Robert

Alas, no core :(

People should really take advantage of Robert's offer earlier rather than later if there's something you want though.

The layout for the Japanese RRL site is so much smoother! Wish they'd use the same for the US site which just freezes my browser all the time.

Can anyone comment on the quality of RRL's canvas bags / messengers? Worth the price vs Filson?

I remember reading here that the fair isle cardigan was thin (thinner than what's expected judging from the photos on the RL website). Can anyone comment on the quality of the piece overall though?

Definitely too thin for my taste given the look and price. It's more along the weight of a basic normal weight cardigan. not feather weight thin, but just normal (whatever that technically amounts to in weight).
