This do get truely shafted with the price for RRL in EU but this piece seems to be extreme in its difference to the Dollar price.

I'm not surprised. The last 30 pages has left quite a few of us exasperated and longing for the sweet solitude of death.

I doubt they're fake (for several reasons that I can't be bothered to go into). I remember hearing that RRL did make some faded non-selvedge denim, just like the ones you're questioning. I agree with what RRL Clothing has said (in no uncertain terms), that you might have problems selling them as they are old, very large and pretty undesirable. Keep us posted on the sale though :)

    I had such high hopes.

Not sure why you are still fixated on reminiscing the past.

    Ah fuck-wit / simpleton!

How was your weekend with mummy and daddy in Beacon Hills? I must admit, I am glad to see you're taking some time from gorging yourself on mothers teet to talk to us unprivileged yokels again. Did you and papa buy lots and lots of lovely treats over the weekend?

It's alright I guess. Only can deal with them for a couple days at a time. He did want me to tell you to watch for:

    LOL @ YOKELS

Btw, I still have a couple pairs of their non selvedge washed jeans. They made them up until fairly recently, maybe 2-3 years ago. I don't know the reasoning behind it except I recall they had a low MSRP (something like $185) so maybe it was to make some of the jeans more accessible to the yokels! I believe they also have a zip fly. They also made some rinse jeans with blue line selvedge and zip fly that year too, also with a lower MSRP and did not say made of Japanese denim on the inner pocket.

Well it turns out that item is a 'heritage' item and limited stock - so in US its going to cost a pretty penny as well. But yes the price difference between UK and US is pretty steep, but I guess somewhat understandable.

Don't forget the UK prices also include 20% VAT.
    Still pretty steep price though.

when I first looked at the pictures, but didn't read what you said, the first thing I thought was that it was fake, but I didn't think people were faking RRL jeans. If you say they have done non-selvedge in the past, then it's probably real, I've never seen it, though. I thought all denim (and cotton twill) out of RRL was selvedge, now. honestly this looks like something from RL Polo at Macy's, with the RRL suede patch on it. I wouldn't bother trying to sell it. Try shrinking it in the wash.

anyone know more about these non-selvedge RRL jeans?

Why would you wish that? Do you hate your parents (or vise versa)?

I didn't realize that Unionmade carried RRL. Saw a few nice pieces on the blog today...
