You are a man after my own heart. I had previously asked Robert about that anorak, but he let me know that as a late Summer item it wasn't included in the sale. It definitely is a piece that interests me. I haven't seen it in person, but Robert assured me it was worth the price. Do you agree?

Just curious, but were the shorts on sale in store?

Lastly, anyone know when the sale ends?

Yeah edubs, they're awesome. I have them in Navy from a season or more ago - really great shorts. They seem to fit tts this year though - I had to size down 3" on my Navy but didn't for these?!

Harvey - its an awesome piece. The feel of it is great - really thick and heavy for Jersey. I didn't have time to have a really close look at the detailing and construction but I could tell it was quality. Not sure I'd spend $400 on it but when it comes up for sale I'll be all over it.

And yes, the shorts were on sale in store.

Speaking of Robert in Chicago (Dastig)....I would like to extend a big "Thank You" for helping me locate all the items I wanted I missed on.

I too will be looking for that Navy Seal Anorak in L come sale time!

Hey guys, I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on the Murdock boots. Any of you own a pair or care to comment if they are going to be worth it?

Looking especially for sizing advice. I wear a 10 in the wolverine 1000 miles and I think my feet are slightly narrow, which I understand is good with these boots.

I was wearing my murdock boots yesterday. I really like my boots. They are solid, and I am always conscious of their quality when I wear them. For me the fit is exceptional. My boots are from last year however, and it sounds like they have a new, narrower last this year. It is difficult to offer good advice. I can only tell you that I am satisfied.

Take the chance. I'm sure you can send them back if it doesn't work out.

Is the new murdock still made by Julian?
Anyway Robert helped me locate the Julian ones before, the old version I believe. The width is okay but instep shaft is tight, 2 trips to cobbler solve the problem.

Instep shaft is definitely tight, but I found this just means a longer break in period. The boot is very solid, and it doesn't give easily.

I emailed Robert, we'll see what he can come up with. Pretty excited.

Yeah still have the varicks from the sale months ago as they are just too tight in width. Two non-paying eBay buyers don't help neither...

Bought from a few times, good prices and quick shipping except for one time (but due to legit reasons). Prices up a bit now but still good, last time I bid had a suspicious second chance offer though, got it pretty much as auction ended and I was outbid near close of auction

In at least 2 recent auctions I noted the canceling of bids and ending auctions early after item did not receive perceived fair value (Jicky). I also inquired about and item an received no reply after 48 hrs only to see auction cancelled (Of which I was bidding). Also noted possible nefarious bidding practices as well (running up the bid)? I won an auction today and these thing have me leery (even though seller has good feedback).
