1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

It's a touchy subject. Some people love RRL and others don't. I really enjoy wearing my RRL raw and once-washed slims but my Momotaro's are just incredible. They can't really be compared imo - just too different.

Surely RRL Clothing will come through and remind you that high end Japanese denim is all smoke and mirrors . :foo:

    Interesting...

Except that RRL gets their denim from Japan.

Really? Give me a break. And Japanese jeans are not exclusive at $500 a pop?

Confused, RRL cost more than that.

Price has been going down from a big jump in '11, and bottoming out to normal levels slowly. Its true, its higher than what it used to be, but lower in short term.

Not sure if I sense sarcasm, but I just thought it'd be interesting to pull up

It was sarcasm. It was also the reason given for Barbour raising their prices

I've had momotaro, studio and triple works for Japanese ones. Sold all of them since RRL fits me best, mine were $124 on eBay

It is a figure of speech. Been here long enough that I'm obviously not a troll.

Got these off eBay, been looking for about a year, trying to get a good price:

Did a Best Offer and and seller accepted on first offer of only $250, and was brand spankin' new. MSRP on these babies were around $695.

Benchmade in England, can only assume they were Stubbs.

My Momo 0701's are the best fitting denim I've ever worn. Seriously well made and the 15oz's have been able to take an absolute beating. I've worn them for a year now, they fit like a glove and I can literally imagine handing them down through the generations! After a year of wearing my RRL Low S's they definitely felt great, but the crotch had blown once and they started to look tatty. I have some raw RRL slim fit buckle backs which need an initial soak - I'm going to abuse those for a year and are what happens.
