Hmm okay i guess i'll have to keep searching, there are some boots that are somewhat similar on RL site as the second pic, with a few style differences - but I hate shoes with excessive branding - I don't want lettering that says POLO on boots.

Take this as a sign that men should not wear tight, slim-fit jeans. Women look fabulous in tight fitting jeans; men generally look absurd.

maybe UltraMagnetical shouldnt - but i've never had a problem with tight fitting jeans. Sometimes raw denim makes a 'popping' sound, and OP may have some raw selvedge - rigid RRLs. In that case that is totally normal and with time will soften out.

lol im not fat...im 5ft8 and 165 but I have thick legs from lifting. the waist of the jeans fit fine...just a little tight around the hips and thighs but from what ive read they will stretch with wear (like all denim). they are actually a washed slim fit but they are still pretty stiff (although not as stiff as the rigid or "once wash")...as long as the sound will go away haha...right now its kinda annoying to walk and hearing a popping noise.

I have a similar build as you, used to squat a lot in high school and the low straights fit just fine. A bit tight at first but it stretches out well. I have a pair of 33 will definitely get a 32 next pair. On slim fits my calves get a bit tight although the thighs and butt are about the same as the waist is bigger.

are your slims a 32? thats what mine are...but yah waist is fine but hips and thighs are a little tight...calfs are fine. I still squat (low 300s) and deadift (mid 400s) lol but if they stretch a little theyll be fine...I tried the 34 slims and the waist was wayyyy too huge.

A good way to really break them in is to start sleeping in the jeans. Sounds weird, and uncomfortable, but it always helps for me.

In other news I found the boots:

But they've been sold out since November... ' Ashridge Buckle Boot '

ah, these. they are nice, but when I see it I just don't know when will I be an appropriate time to wear those. I think those weren't too expensive when the November sale was going on.

Yeah I never even looked at RL.com during that sale... just Rugby :/

They look ugly standing by themselves in the middle of a white showcase room. But they look remarkably good on the models on rugby's site.
