Just wondering, are the RRL straight (not the low straight) being phased out? only a few pair left in the store and they seem to be very hard to find at a discount on both ebay and the forum. It seems like most at a discount are slim and low straight.

They just aren't very popular on the forums/ebay. Up in NYC, most of the guys that work at RRL stores seem to wear the straight fit.
I personally like the straight fit. It fits similar to the low straight, but with a higher rise.

Updates- I have been slow on replying to PMs. About 10 at night I was putting up the top on my convertible in my driveway. Next thing I know, I have 2 guns in my face. The took my wallet and phone and pistol whipped me numerous times in the head. Once I was on the ground, they kept beating me.

911, SWAT, detectives, and about 8 patrol cars showed up in about 10 minutes. I was immedietly taken to the hospital since I sustained some serious head injuries and was kept 24 hours to make sure no brain swelling or bleeding.

I had 3 dollars in my wallet, a debit and credit card. They tried using the debit card at various locations by guessing my pin. They tried about 25 times at various ATMS and got nothing. They were able to identify 1 of the guys by the atm cameras and license plate. They have a warrant out for his arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

I am okay for the most part. Pain pills have helped. I still feel dizzy, confused, and slurred speech, but getting better each day.

My RRL wallet was found somewhere in ATL, but I am not going to get it. The guy seems like a crackhead and wants a 60 dollar reward.

So if I don't reply to your PMs, you know why.

On other note, I had a chance of checking out Denim and Supply goods. The chambray shirts are horrible. Paper thin.

A lot of talk about RRL cardigans and sweaters recently. At 50% they are just "affordable" but I would still prefer to find an SNS product at 10-20% off. Why get the replica when you can just go to the source for a better overall product. Exception to this rule: military inspired gear. RRL does a better job at civilian military garb than does the military. For obvious reasons, military gear is extremely stiff and durable and it's not something you can enjoy wearing day-to-day. Of course you have some exceptions like the wool beanie someone mentioned a few days ago.

Damn! Hope you have a speedy recovery. At this point I'd say you're bound to get some good karma. Don't let the world beat you down.

I just dropeed $1200... It should hold me over for a few months. The thing I hate about RRL is that they keep coming out with cool shit and I always want something. I need an intervention. Or... to win the lottery!

I got my order in yesterday. Pretty satisfied overall--the cotton shawl sweater is the best of the bunch, and the chambray work shirt and flannel western are pretty sweet too. I was most excited about the dobby work shirt but the fit's kind of bizarre on me and it has to go back. For some reason I thought the dobbies sportshirt would work, too, but no dice.
