There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Good find indeed Namor. I'm curious though - what is it that's reptile(y) about the jacket?

was at the rrl on melrose today and tried on the type 2 denim jacket in small ... its amazing. too big for me so waiting for an XS but a really great piece and the price aint bad considering its a raw selvedge denim jacket and its rrl lol

picked up the rrl natural cargo shorts with the leather clasp. its a real heavy, sturdy pair of shorts with rivets and nice deets. obvi its pretty exp for shorts though

I was being serious. I was using my phone all day and only just got a chance to see the "reptile" effect of the leather on my (slightly larger) laptop screen. It is really scaly or more grained leather?

I just sold some RRL Key West cargo shorts on eBay which sound similar (i.e. heavy, sturdy with clasps etc). They were huge though - had 12" leg openings on a tagged size 34 (actual size 36.5) and really bloomed out so I never wore them. How do the ones you bought fit - I'm kind of interested in the Piece-Dyed Canvas Cargo Short.

i would say yes. the leg is really narrow and the slim rigids are the slimmest RRL jeans

    When said the moon
    soon said the wind
who said the cloud that started to cry
me said the rider as dry as a bone
    who said the sun
why said the river that refused to run
where said the thunder without a sound
here said the rider as he took up his gun

    no said the stars
no said the trees that started to moan
no said the dust that blinded his eyes
yes said the rider as white as bone
    no said the moon
    no said the dying sun
    no said the planets
yes said the rider as he lay down his gun

everytime I put on RRL i think of that song

and yes I think Roman is right they are slim fits

I do not have much experience with RRL shorts but did just try on last week a pair of officer chino shorts that had a similar blooming effect on me (admittedly they were a size larger in the waist than what typicallyy I wear in the officer chino pants). Do their shorts tend to be fairly wide-legged or baggy?

Also, not sure I have seen it mentioned here yet, but the West Broadway store has some awesome RRL-branded (i.e. not vintage/reclaimed) tan longwings and cap-toe boots. A little pricy ($750 and $1200 respectively) for me, especially considering they are calf skin but very nice shoes. The SA thought they might be Edward Green, in which case I guess the price is understandable (although still too much for me).

are the slim rigids medium-rise? are they slim rather than skinny?
just got Reville's Julian-made Bowery-look alikes, and trying to find a jean that looks good with them. I've haven't bought new jeans in years though - and been wearing the selvedge officer chinos almost everyday for the past year. Folks with Bowerys - what do you normally wear them with? What sort of jean fit do you think goes best w/ them?

My outlet killed PSR racks. They said they are remodeling their stock room so they will be receiving a lot of PSRs on next tuesday.

But they had shit tons of PSR bags, duffle bags, rrl bags, etc.

The slim rigids and slim fits in general are medium rise. I have a few pair in 31x32 and the rise is about 10". And they are not skinny. They are tapered but the seat and waist are on the looser side so it probabl works best as a slouchier fit.

They are rinse, so once washed. I really should get some photos up / fits, just haven't had the time to get photos organized.

and iPhone fades are like love hate for me, sometimes I like it especially how your phone slides into place but other times it really bugs me

:embar: but was actually watching the proposition since I had too many vegas bombs and couldn't fall asleep. Song is from the movie haha
