Grr, wish RRL would use longer fibers on their knits.
What!?... Tell us how long are the fibers they use?
If they're not long enough for you don't buy their sweaters.
This one has Geelong, isn't that supposed to be one of the longest fibers?
RRL shirt, maybe two years old at this point (cross-post from WAYWT).
Anyone know where I can a Large RRL Classic Trucker jacket in white?
RRL is no longer carried at barney's in NYC, as of 3 days ago.
There is one on Ebay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Ralph-L...SA_MC_Blazers_Sport_Coats&hash=item231488509b
I don't even remember posting this yesterday night. Anyways, I don't know but it'd be nice if their sweaters were more resistant to pilling (Namor ended up selling his cashmere blend cardigan because of how badly and how quickly it pilled. Deez's has started after 3 wears). I usually don't buy their sweaters but some of them are too nice to resist. In contrast, I have some Smedleys that are impressively pill resistant after a whole lot of hand/machine washes. I remember reading Smedley uses 2 inch long fibers.
I don't know. Does RRL use a lot of geelong?
Morgan, looks great. That's the first time I have seen a RRL shirt worn with a tie
Not sure, just like that sweater a lot and remember reading somewhere Geelong was good. Would never pay that much for a sweater like that. Much rather kop this season's EG cardigan for a few hundred less. Probably a lot better quality too.
Morgan, that is not a combo I would normally consider doing, but it really seems to work with your style, looks really good
Care to elaborate??
the men's denim floor went thru some renovations, and can no longer house a dedicated RRL section. at least thats what a SA said. which doesnt make much sense to me since she also said RRL did extremely well there. why would u stop carrying a product that is doing well???
Apparently, this season's Bowery is being made in England instead of their old-reliable out in LA. Wonder why.
When asked who makes the Bowerys, the NYC SA replied, "Ralph Lauren."
