Anyone know if the designers who work on RRL denim do stuff for RL's other lines as well? Wondering specifically about Black Label. I kopped a pair of RL Black Label washed black jeans recently (older jeans not from the new line) and they've instantly become my favorite pair.

At first I found the RRL website to be a mishmash of poor web design, oblique navigation and lame sentiment, but revisiting it today made me realize that it's also kinda offensive. All these sepia photos of vintage American manufacturing floors are sweatshops. Scum of the earth, scourge of the proletariat, the kind of places that had Marx pulling out his beard. Combined with the fact that RRL shirts and pants have a phony "union made" tag sewn in them, it's obnoxious.

In addition to sepia-toning their shop staff in current season models (and a grizzly bear coat - WTF??? Is that going to be a flagship piece for the "Greased knothole fuckin' lumberjacks of North Dakota" collection) I think RRL should sepia tone some photos of their no doubt sleek factory floors in China. Photograph some Zhejiang migrant workers in the cotton dobby workshirts and duck pants.

Fits like the olive and khaki regulation chinos. Yes baggy. Waist is about 4" larger than tagged. You can iron out all the crinkles to give it a less worn appearance. Those prefab crinkles will disappear on their own after 1-2 wears.

What do you mean? Based on the same sizes, the slim fit should be slimmer in the top block than the low straights.

Whoa, 4"? I guess if sized down for proper waist fit it shouldn't be too sloppy looking.

I have a pair and sized down 2 and they fit perfect at the waist. I can't imagine 4 could be possibly right.

i dont like the pic; too close and too angled. Makes it hard to give good input. However, from the angled pic they look aaaaiiggght

So, probably not interested in my XL Chambray workshirt, $150 shipped?

Also, I come from a long line of lumberjacks and greased knothole fucking is more of a Canadian thing. In the Dakotas we brown some ground bison in a skillet and put it inside a long-necked vase. Plastic for most, glass for the true man.
