If you can get them over your thighs...
from the seller:
The 34w measures approximately 12" in the thigh (measured flat, no tension just beneath crotch)
The 36w measures approximately 13" using the same technique.
If you stretch or apply tension to the material you can get a bit more on both sizes, also take into account these stretch a little with multiple wears (and also shrink with wash due to raw fabric.)
Personally I recommend wearing these relaxed, 1870s-vintage style! If you have any other questions please let us know.
So just like slim fits, right? At least the 34w measurement is the same.
Honestly, the fit in the thighs is fine. I would say it is comparable to my Officer's chinos, although the canvas is heavier with the Orchard St.
I only paid $155, but it appears I got a better fit at that price.
did you get any shrinkage or stretch?
For those RRL fans in the Dallas area...
The RL outlet in Allen had a few choice items today, such as vests, officer chinos (32x34 for $110 and 30% off), and at least three pair of Slim Fit denim in blue and in white (32 and 34).
The size 34x32 was $109 and 30% off. The other pairs were $199 and 30% off. Don't recall seeing any shirts.
I bought from ebay about 3 weeks back. I believe it was ebay seller Katsorev (spelling is wrong).
So far no stretches or shrinkage, but I've only worn them 3x.
I see we're on the same wavelength here.
For $130 a piece we could go halvsies on the 34's. After hearing what harvey got for them, I've decided I want the harvey price.
I'd concur with this.
I've got both the selvedge ones and the pre-distressed duck ones. They fit pretty much the same and are comparable to the officer's chinos.
I think I got my selvedge ones from katerosev too although they were quite a bit more than $155. Around $225 a couple months ago.
hananasi recently sold 4 or 5 of the Orchard St pants. Price was also $250.
Actually, I paid $156.59+ shipping for a total of $164.59 from Katerosev on August 6. Interest must have been at the nadir around the beginning of August, and I had free wifi on the frecciarossa
Any help with sizing for the Low Straight denim from the RRL online store? Should I assume the usual 2 sizes above tagged size and size down by 2? And does sizing vary between washes?
And can anyone confirm that the Low Straight Dark Wash in Rigid is indeed unwashed, raw denim?
Aren't the officer chino thighs the same as the low straight thighs? So pretty much if you can fit low straights in size x then you'll fit the Orchard st. pants in size x?
Are RRL shirts of better quality than Hugo Boss?
Question of the year.
