Unfortunately, 1% of e-bay RRL sellers bother measuring or completely identifying what it is that they are selling.

Is RRL (sans maybe a few special pieces) made in China?

edit; just found the answer in the comment section of this ACL blog entry

Only some of the denim and specialty items such as the boots or leather jackets are made in the USA. How is that for clothing styled after Americana?

mess production....

We'll see whole season of these in outlets next year, I guess?

Yeah was a feature in the WSJ about this, they completely failed to mention RRL or anything, and praised the new line. Kinda sad, but WSJ is always a bit off in terms of clothing.

How many labels are there seriously?

I mean, launching overlapped style label could possibly hurt their own brands. Black Label Denim?

What the ****.

This overstocked merchandise will only increase their factory store's revenue.

BIN with immediate payment is the only way to do it...
I understand that to an extent. However, if it were me, I would probably want to put some things up for auction if there's been little interest. I think it would probably be more beneficial to actually sell things occasionally, rather than just keeping things BIN for the sake of it. I'm not saying put everything up for auction - I'm pretty sure there are at least 10 pairs of Rhinestone encrusted leather rodeo flared pants which have been listed BIN with an absurd price for as long as I've been looking at RRL on eBay. Just my thoughts.

Yeah I think I'm just used to having sellers put a good deal of the brands I wear up for auction (not all, but definitely more than the paltry 5% that RRL sellers put up). I guess I get their reasoning, just not used to having the percentage be that miniscule.

In this economy though, I understand the hesitation of auctioning.

Black Label Denim?

What the ****.

I read an article, too (but I think it was in the NYT). Isn't the idea that these will be slimmer, more fashun-y offerings, in keeping with what the Black Label's all about?

Wish I'd found out about RRL earlier...I bought quite a few pairs of jeans last year but all I want to wear are my slim fits....super soft, good cut and comfy. Does RRL ever make a lightweight bomber style jacket...most of their outwear seems to be real thick. Really like the look of this but the dragons kill it...can't tell if its heavy

There is a version of that jacket without the dragon painting on it.

I have been eyeing one of these recently. Seems to be very similar the bomber you were looking at and sans dragon.
