I'm curious to hear this as well. I'm guessing that Orchard St. is slimmer than Alaska, as I've tried on a few Alaska pieces, and they have all been pretty straight through the thigh and leg. But best wait for our resident expert on this...

By Alaska buckleback are you referring to the LE patched jeans? That cut is close to the straight leg which these days is actually slim for a straight leg cut, nowhere near as full a cut compared to japanese 47 repros. Not sure how many of you have tried on recent pairs of straight legs, but a sz 30 has about 8" leg opening now. Much closer to low straight compared to older models, just with higher rise and extra inch in lower leg, maybe .5 inch in the thighs.

The Orchard St chinos are actually a slightly fuller cut in the thigh/lower leg compared to current straight leg.

I get about the same fit in my normal -2" size as this pic (not the same pants - these are the original selvedge chinos with the thicker fabric no id line selvedge used in the orchard st pair)

El Duderino... I too have a question and hope you can answer it.

    I'm interested in THESE shorts.

They are listed as a size W33". I know RRL shorts can come quite vanity sized so contacted the seller who said they were actually TTS. Would you be able to confirm that / offer a different POV?

    Thanks.

I don't about those shorts, but I know that that seller in particular does not measure - they just quote the tagged size. I've asked on an item before and come away unconvinced. It's good you're asking; be careful.

Yeah I understand. I'm selling some Key West cargo shorts which simply didn't suit me. I bought them knowing the W34 (tagged) would translate to a W36 and indeed they did. I wish I could pull them off but alas I can't. I would be very interested to know if the ones I linked to with a W33 translate to a W35-36...

The pair you linked are shorts based on the regulation chino cut, so they will be at least 2" larger, up to about 2.5" larger.

    yes, LE = limited edition

I've been seeing a lot of "RRL FICON" on tag recently, anyone familiar with?
Is it past collection? If so, what year?

I have a pair of current season selvedge officer chinos for sale size 30. I know they have been hard to come by and I am offering for below retail.
