There was a RRL across the street from the mens and womens collection stores on Bleecker. Late in May we were taking a walk and noticed the mens and womens had been mysteriously and unceremoniously shuttered. They're combining that space into a giant RRL, and no word on what the former RRL across the street will turn into.

    Thanks. That explain a lot!
Do you know if they moved their inventory to another store? or moved it back to distribution center?

Because, when I first saw Bonnie and Clyde from outlet that was middle of June. And I visited RRL Melrose store yesterday, they had maybe a couple or more items from Bonnie, Grand Canyon, etc.

I would expect there will be little bonanza on October or November.

    OR

    Maybe I'm wrong.

everytime I hear/see "Aspen", "Wisconsin", or "Toronto" I think of "cabin", "mansion", and "condo", respectively. I finally found a pair of the "Black on Blue" Slim Fits. I pray that they fit, otherwise, Ill be going on a diet.

Aspen is hilarious and fun. I took a break from camping at the hot springs to visit the Prada store and buy a $5.95 vitamin water.

There are two cuts of those black label jeans. I think theyr'e called slim and skinny.
They're actually not cut super slim/skinny through the body but the legs are ultra slim and ultra skinny.
You'd best not have any calf muscles to speak of with the skinny cuts or you'll be peeling them off.
They have a bit of stretchy stuff in the fabric too.
Don't size down like with RRL.

I like the bright blue ones.

Actually it's just the skinny fit ones that are so ultra thin around the calves.
Around the thighs they're similar to the RRL Slims.
This is comparing a +2 size in the Black Labels compared to the RRLs.

Anyone have any experience with the Orchard St vs Alaska bucklebacks?
Trying to decide which pair I should buy, without the opportunity for firsthand exposure.
    (ahem, Duderino? ;)

Had an opportunity to peruse the Fall lookbook for RRL even though I'm traveling (greetings from Taormina) new collections are Montana, Irish Country, and North Bend WA. Lots of Jaspe twill in the Montana and North Bend. Looks interesting, but fairly similar to previous seasons although I haven't seen the LE. You might want want to watch The Quiet Man as a primer for the Irish Country...
