The lighting is too low in the photos of you wearing the overdyed shirt, but the photo of it on the leather chair looks pretty cool. I've done a similar thing with washed out blue chambray shirts by "tea-staining" them (I use RIT Tan instead of real tea), and it gives them a great ancient look.

Livingstones and that olive special edition with the buckle back. I put the belt over the buckle and it’s uncomfortable, so I guess I’ll just cut it off.

Looks great. I don't own any Vintage fit myself, but I thought they would have a wider leg opening than that.
If you go ahead with it, you might be the first one here to cut off the bucklebacks. Or you can remove them and reattach them lower down. Post a photo if you do either. Oh no, not that topic again! I'll stop, I promise!

No worries, I got what you meant the first time, just wanted to add my take :)
Cool, thanks. Sometimes the written word can easily be misinterpreted; we don't get the writer's meaning or the correct tone. I think I misinterpreted your post when I first read it.

RRL-esque Polo jacquard overshirt-over dyed, levis slevedge, red wing steel toe boots

Latest alteration-The overshirt being mentioned here on SF led me to buy it. Was a little too bright/loud for my taste so I over dyed it black w some Rit in the washing machine to mute/tone it down. Came out exactly how I wanted.

All my pics are after. Web pic is before View attachment 2314553
I admire how adventurous you are with your RRL clothes, and how you picked the best looking Red Wings from their work line.

I also wish there were more green in their collection but thanks to SF I managed to find my favorite green shirt from them, which has a muted color just as I like, if you did not know about its existence, here it is :

Also, wanted to add for whomever was interested in the Filson jacket and the PRL green jacket that was just posted.
img_0513-jpeg.2314565

The Filson beartooth jacket that is similar to this jacket is of a similar price point but much higher quality, the cotton is much heavier duty however the fit is not very flattering. On me, Size Large fits my shoulders and sleeves perfectly but very baggy and Medium is much too short in the sleeves. Typical filson sizing for me.

This PRL piece fits much better for me but the cotton and lining are much cheaper feeling. However I love the pattern and the vibrant green color so I sold the Filson off and kept this one. Its a much lighter piece though which can be a good thing. I wouldnt dare dying it with black dye though. :O

OK, this is a really nice jacket. I hadn't seen it, but don't tend to watch Polo stuff very often.

Wow. This video is very douchey , especially with what looks to be a fake Rolex. Never seen gold shine like that.. Different strokes I suppose

However ssense I don't get it all.
In most of his pics it is a "gold" Seiko Prospex diver...definitely plated for a gold look vs. real gold. Love Seiko Prospex line..."gold" wouldn't be my first pick as I love stainless steel, but looks cool. Not sure what he is wearing in the video though as the camera moves fast.
